Believe and Understand

Jesus proclaimed that “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So, it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

“How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. There are still some asking that very same question.

“You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still, you people do not accept our testimony.   I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”  The key word here is must, Jesus must be lifted up, exalted, and declared in all of earth.  This is why:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. Ok, now here is the verdict. “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Prayer:

Father as your children we believe in and lift the name of Jesus, in Him we have eternal life. We are children of the light and do what is right in your sight. We know that sometimes we may error, but you will forgive us when we ask. Amen

The Glass House

Living in a glass house, logs burning in the fireplace.

Surrounded with trees open spaces. Love in the air.

Night stars shinning, living in a glass house. Not a care.

At peace, filled with your grace, logs burning in the fireplace.

Dancing flames, violins and cello’s playing to the crackling sounds.

My heart pulsating, teary eyed, wandering adrift in sweet bliss.

Where did this all come from, I found my rest, living in a glass house.

Alone in your presence, full moon aglow, logs burning in the fireplace.

Living in a glass house, logs burning in the fireplace. Love in the air.

Vision or Dream

Vision or a dream I am not certain.

Looking out a half open white wood trim window.

With no curtains.

Green vine leaves crisp with dew drops draped around the inner trim.

Wind gently blowing such a serene feeling.

Three men in white robes outside walking by.

What does this vision or dream symbolize or mean.

White the purity of God and His character. Good things.

My sin was washed away by the blood of the Lamb.

White Robes fitness of my soul for appointed service.

Green vine, I can not do anything without clinging to Jesus.

Dew drops truth, goodness, and a new chapter in my life.

Wind blowing gently, Holy Spirit sustaining me.

Revelation 7:13-14

Then one of the elders addressed me: “These in white robes,” he asked, “who are they, and where have they come from?”

All I Want is You

Take me deeper than the center of the earth.

Take me higher than the heavens above.

Standing and singing on the clouds, Holy, Holy, Holy.

Who was and is to come.

Take me where I can see you sitting on Your throne.

Spirit to Spirit, crying tears of happiness, fire in my bones.

Jesus, I scream, You are real not a dream.

Inhaling and exhaling each breath you have given me.

In the pleasure of Your love, as I drink Your water of life.

Living by the bread of Your Words.

Listening to the song, I surrender all to You.

All I want is You.

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is, and is to come.

Refuge

Psalm 37:37-40

Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace. But all sinners will be destroyed; there will be no future for the wicked. The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; He is their stronghold in time of trouble. the LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

Under His refuge I lay knowing that nothing or no one has a stronghold over me. Because my Father has me safely tucked under His wings.

Refuge

Resting under the wings of my LORD

Eagerly anticipating what He has in store.

Frustration is not a word in His vocabulary.

Under His wing is comfort and joy.

Grace abounds His love and truth surpasses all.

Evidence is visually seen that He is Supreme.

Father thank you for favoring me and keeping me safe under Your wings.

Who is He?

Lover of my soul.

My backpack, pathfinder, and guiding light.

Mover of all obstacles.

Keeps me from stumbling.

Faithful from beginning to the end.

Giver of spiritual gifts.

The lifter of my spirit.

Who is better than the best.

Gave His only begotten Son.

The great “I Am.”

Who is He? He is God.

Reading: Isaiah 46:4

I am He who will sustain you. I have made you. I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Pay Your Debt

Pay your debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, these are part of the dept “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet, and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Does this sound like it can be possible or affordable? Do you need reminder calls? Don’t worry it is understood that one may forget a payment or two. Interpersonal things pop up out of no where. Forgiveness will get you back on the payments of love. There is no small print. Love is heaven sent. Just keep the cash of love clean and pure when you are paying your debt. For you will be fulfilling the dept of love.

Soaking in the Son

Soaking in the Son, eyes closed head lifted up.

His rays beaming on my face. Soaking in the Son.

My seizing body trembles elated from His penetrating rays.

Resting in the Son, in His comforting healing arms.

His fulfilling touch means so much.

Satisfying, gratifying, and rectifying.

His radiant arms lifting me up, taking me to Abba Father.

Under the threshold to the Garden.

Spirits bonding, fire in my eyes, unable to open.

So deeply in love and in sincere worship, exalting the Son.

Such pleasure that is indescribable.

So blessed, so mystifying, so immovable.

When I am soaking in the Son.

His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand,
    where his power was hidden.

Struggling

Genesis 32:22-32 (NIV)

Have you found yourself struggling with God and others?  Well, here is someone who did, if you are not familiar with the story. I am presenting it now.  One night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions.  So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak.  When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”The man asked him, “What is your name?”

“Jacob,” he answered.

Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.”But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there. Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”

What have you struggled with God and others in your mind or heart ? Did it turn out to be the turning point of your life? It was with Jacob.

Turning Point

Obstacles and trials are life’s opponent.

Throwing everything it’s got.

You ducking and dodging.

Getting knocked down with that hard right.

But you got up by the count.

Thinking ” I do not want to lose this fight!”

Round 1, Round 2, Round 3

You broke free, winning the victory.

God removed the obstacles.

As you come from under the ring’s rope.

With the understanding that life is no joke.

Look up and reach towards the heavens.

Thanking God for your turning point.

The Rhythm of the Spirit

My life sustaining movement of the Spirit.

The rushing breeze of the wind lifting me.

I feel like I am floating on air,

When I’m dancing to the rhythm of the Spirit,

The thematic sound of the timpani and conga drums.

Making His presence grand. My soul hums.

The wistfully sounds of a symphony hallowing His name.

Violins playing my soul is swaying so quite, gentle, and sincere.

So melodiously near, there is nothing else I rather hear.

Other than the music He brings when we are embraced in dance.

Dancing to the thematic sounds of timpani and conga drums.

In the rhythm of the Spirit.

Psalm 30:1-3, 11

I will exalt you, Lord,  for you lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me. Lord my God, I called to you for help,
    and you healed me. You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;
you spared me from going down to the pit. You turned my wailing into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.
