About Rachel Flemming (Briston-Griffin)
Graduated with an AD degree in Nursing from, Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, PA. Received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s Degree in Servant-leadership from Geneva College, Pittsburgh PA.. Received the Editors Award for the poem “A Professional Nurse,” published in The National Library of Poetry; “ A Lasting Mirage,” in 1997, and published in “Touched By A Nurse: Special Moments That Transform Lives,” in 1999. Currently employed as a Nurse Manager, at CMTucker, nursing home for Veterans, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Reflection: God’s Spirit does not cause confusion or lingers. He leads, directs, and brings peace.
