More Love Less Hate

In the New International Version  Bible love appears 538 times. That means that love is some serious business and nothing to play with! But many people chose to actively play games with love.

Love is the sweetest thing I know, it’s like a surprise box of chocolate covered strawberries, like the aroma of a bed of roses, and a light shower of rain with the sun shining brightly. Jesus said, I have loved you, as my Father has loved me  (John 15:9). A love relationship with Jesus’ is one of intimacy, forgiveness, and sincerity.

Maybe, just maybe, that is why some people do not know how to love because, no one has loved them like Jesus. However, believers have the love of God in their hearts (Romans 5:5).  And they are commanded to love one another. So why is there so much hate?

Hate is written 80 times in the New International Version Bible. In doing the math or just looking at the figures, one can discern which is pleasing to God. Hate in the Webster’s Dictionary means:

“Intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury. Or extreme dislike or disgust:antipathy, loathing.”

I did research on “How many practicing Christians are there in the United States” because it is my assumption that all this hate and not love is not only coming from unbelievers.

In the United States it was found by a  General Social Survey (2000-2004) that 80% of adults were identified as Christians. And as of July 1,2019 out of 256 million adults in the United States, according to the Pew Research Center (2018-2019), 65% identify as Christians. According to a Pew research survey conducted in 2019 the United States is steadily becoming less Christian and less religiously observant.

Wow! Mind boggling, do the math, figures do not lie or do they? Fellow believers what to you think?

Someone or something must change. It is time to be reconciled to God, more love less hate. More love less hate! More love less hate!

Escape from hate learn to love and appreciate. More love less hate.

More love less hate.
