Give Him

What do you give Him who has given you the sky.

The air you breathe. The deep blue seas. The green grass.

The honey from the beehive. The apple from the tree.

The fish from the pond. And His only begotten Son.

What do you give Him, who took away your sin.

Wiped the tears from your eyes, gave you a reason to be alive.

What do you give Him. Who held you in His arms.

And protected you from all harm. Sheltered you from the storms.

Who said, “I will never leave you.” “You are Mine.”

And set a table before you, in the presence of your enemies.

And whispered in your ear, “Victory is yours and there is more.”

What do you give Him for the gift of love and eternal life.

Whatever it is, it must come from a heart that is right and pleasing in His sight.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy 1:17).
