Alpha and Omega

A Man and Son of God, with Him in the beginning, mankind’s salvation.

Love, peace, mercy, and justice for people of every nation.

Purposeful in all His divine ways. He gave His life away.

Had appeared to many in days of old. Now dwells within one’s soul.

After Him there is no one greater. It is written in many spiritual letters.

AND

Over all the heavens and the earth. In His kingdom the bells ring and angels sing.

Miracles of provision and healing, giver of God’s wisdom, so His faithful will not falter.

Eternal life springing up from the wells of His fountains of living water.

Gracious and merciful to all of mankind. One breath, one touch, one love, a heavenly sign.

Answer to all one’s needs, pain, troubles, sufferings, heartaches, and joy.

Jesus said, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Let’s Go Fishing

Jesus said, Leave the fishing rods and follow me.

You will only need to throw out the nets.

Follow Jesus example and His teachings

For He is an expert of catching fish.

The fish are squirming in the deep dark sea.

Needing the food of His true Word

Bring them to the surface and help them find their purpose.

Feed the fish personified as people.

Treat them with tender loving care.

Help them grow in the knowledge of Christ.

Empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Giving them high self esteem, happiness, and merit.

So one day they too can go fishing.

And invite someone to go fishing too.

Reading: Matthew 4:19-20

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people. At once they left their nets and followed him.

Jesus is the fountain of delight!

Keep this thought in your heart, mind, and sight.

The fountain that springs up living water.

He is Lord and King above all others.

Jesus is the fountain of delight!

For people, He is the source of wisdom and the heavenly light.

The glory, power, and the revelation of what is and what is to come.

He came, He was crucified, and rose again for all not for some.

Jesus is the fountain of life.

Keep this thought in your heart, mind, and sight.

Jesus is the fountain of delight!

Reading: Psalm 36:9

“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.”

The Hand of God

The righteous and wise, works are in the hand of God.

So they raise their hand to the Lord, God Most High.

Knowing that their arms and hands were made strong.

By the hands of the Mighty God.

In Him the weak will be made strong.

All power and strength are in His Mighty hands.

In God one will lack nothing.

For God is love. So remember.

The righteous and wise, works are in the hand of God.

Reading: Ecclesiastes 9:1

For I considered all this in my heart, so that I could declare it all: that the righteous and the wise and their works are in the hand of God.

Christlike Love

Christlike love is given through the power of the Holy Spirit. An agape love that endures, follows God’s instruction, and brings His resounding love into this world’s Babylonian mess.

Christlike love serves a higher purpose, saving those from oppression, reconciling God’s people to Him, and demonstrating His heartfelt love. In putting the burning fires of hate, anger, greed, and selfishness out with the life giving water of the Holy Spirit, sent from heaven above. Leaving smoldering, purified ashes, rising in an aroma of sweet smelling smoke, of the Father’s divine reigning power and glory.

Christlike love is compelled to serve and shows no partiality. For the law of love is Jesus’ law and reality. In loving the Father and loving one’s neighbor, no matter of one’s status, language, or race. Christlike love sees what the Father sees and shares the Father’s heart, A heart filled with compassion, forgiveness, mercy and grace.

The Father says gather my children of the promise, Oh gather my children, from every nation and tribe from generation to generation. Oh sing God’s faithful ones rejoice ! rejoice! Set your eyes on above filled with the power of love, in all gentleness and faith, keeping your eyes on Jesus, our precious Savior and King, let your resounding voices sing, exalt the King. Rejoice! rejoice!

Let the doves fly and the spiritual rivers flow, from soul to soul. Heaven on earth, His Kingdom advancement, is the goal. Dance like David with your priestly garments on and make shouts of joy. Joyful shouting from every mountain top in every corner of His world. Understanding that Christlike love heals, comforts, brings deliverance, and strengthens through the power of Holy Spirit, infusing in the believer’s soul.

Father, I pray that many more of Your people from every nation and tribe, and those who will today and in the future, come in faith in Jesus, be filled with Your Christlike love by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Reading: Romans 13:8-10

Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”

Turn The Lights On

Turn the lights on Lord, pull up the shades

Many are walking in moral and spiritual darkness

Turn the lights on Lord, pull up the shades

Let the healing rays of the Son, shine through

 The windows of their hearts

Father, give them a brand new start

Turn the lights on, pull the shades up

Open their eyes so they can see

The world is in a crisis

Oh  Holy Spirit blow your wind

Cut through this world of hatred and sin

Arise those who are morally and spiritually dead

Let the illuminating light of Jesus

And the Holy Spirit lift them from their beds

Turn the lights on Lord, pull up the shades

Let the healing rays of the Son, shine through

The world has had enough of their hideous escapades

Reading: John 8:12 (NIV)

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”

God Our Source

God is our source of love faith and hope. He is a stream of water to all that pleases Him. The greatest gift of  God’s people is his loving presence. Those who know him and dwell in His presence have wells of living water flowing from them. Giving life enriching water to those who drink from the streams of their river, the river that is stirred by Jesus hand and flows from their heart. Life giving water where one will never thirst again. The spiritual water of everlasting life the Father gives His children to journey through this land to be like Him and do what’s right. God’s river never runs dry He is the source of love, faith, and hope. He is a stream of water to all that pleases Him. Proverbs 21:1

The Vineyard

Jesus tilled fertile ground for His vineyard

With blood and sweat seeping out His pores

Bought seeds at a redeeming price

Planted and nourished them

With love and spiritual food

Out sprouted a fresh full harvest of fruit

The vineyard He created, attended, and preserved

From the seeds He bought at a redeeming price

Fully sprouted and pruned by His Father the Gardener

Now have hearts and a nature like His

Producing and germinating seeds of His likeness

Through the cultivating power of His Spirit

And the Pruning of His Gardener

Smiles with love at His many vineyards

Reading:

Isaiah 5:1

I will sing about the one I love, a song about my loved one’s vineyard: The one I love had a vineyard on a very fertile hill.

 The Doorkeeper and Great Shepherd

Jesus repeats himself in John 10:7-16 (NKJV) to the Pharisees saying  to them, “I am the door of the sheep. All whoever came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and would go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come, except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly (salvation, healing, nourishment, and plenty more). Jesus goes on to say, I am the Good Shepherd the good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep. But a hireling he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. However, Jesus says, “I am the Good Shepherd and I know my sheep and am known by my own. As the Father knows me even so, I know the Father and I lay down my life for the sheep. Jesus further explain that not just the sheep He has, but other sheep, He has which are not of this fold, them also, He says that He must bring, and they will hear His voice and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

Jesus goes on to say, “My Father loves me because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it again. This command, I have received from my Father.” Beloveds, Jesus is deeply passionate, sincere, and straight forward of who He is as the Great Shepherd. The Shepherd and Doorkeeper who is fully devoted to those under His care. There is no greater love.
