To our nations and churches, there are consequences for not understanding what God is saying. God’s promise of deliverance is very clear to those who trust Him.
Some prophets/leaders are “blind” and “drunk” as his or her counterparts; some of their teachings demonstrate, God’s words are meaningless to them, “ they are like children who can’t read” see Isaiah 29:9-12.
They are lacking personal reality/ relationship with Jesus, “ in as much these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts from Me (v13).” They are “rejecting God’s commands and carrying out man’s rules; a rule for this and a rule for that; a little here and a little there.” It is questionable if he or she has understanding of who God is (see Mark 7:8; Isaiah 28: 9-10).” God is concerned about the condition of our hearts. Read Mark 7:1-23.
Let’s get personal in our relationship with Jesus.
Listen to the teaching of God, “Give ear and hear My voice, listen and hear My speech, see Isaiah 28:23.”
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion see Hebrews 3: 7-11.
Father, I pray for changed hearts, open eyes that see, and open ears that hear Your voice through a personal relationship with Jesus. Amen
