More Love Less Hate

In the New International Version  Bible love appears 538 times. That means that love is some serious business and nothing to play with! But many people chose to actively play games with love.

Love is the sweetest thing I know, it’s like a surprise box of chocolate covered strawberries, like the aroma of a bed of roses, and a light shower of rain with the sun shining brightly. Jesus said, I have loved you, as my Father has loved me  (John 15:9). A love relationship with Jesus’ is one of intimacy, forgiveness, and sincerity.

Maybe, just maybe, that is why some people do not know how to love because, no one has loved them like Jesus. However, believers have the love of God in their hearts (Romans 5:5).  And they are commanded to love one another. So why is there so much hate?

Hate is written 80 times in the New International Version Bible. In doing the math or just looking at the figures, one can discern which is pleasing to God. Hate in the Webster’s Dictionary means:

“Intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury. Or extreme dislike or disgust:antipathy, loathing.”

I did research on “How many practicing Christians are there in the United States” because it is my assumption that all this hate and not love is not only coming from unbelievers.

In the United States it was found by a  General Social Survey (2000-2004) that 80% of adults were identified as Christians. And as of July 1,2019 out of 256 million adults in the United States, according to the Pew Research Center (2018-2019), 65% identify as Christians. According to a Pew research survey conducted in 2019 the United States is steadily becoming less Christian and less religiously observant.

Wow! Mind boggling, do the math, figures do not lie or do they? Fellow believers what to you think?

Someone or something must change. It is time to be reconciled to God, more love less hate. More love less hate! More love less hate!

Escape from hate learn to love and appreciate. More love less hate.

More love less hate.

The He-Goat

I had a vision on 10/17/2020, I was sitting in my recliner chair where I do most my reading and writing. I leaned back and closed my eyes. I saw a bearded goat (He-Goat) drinking from a puddle of water surrounded by slates of stone.

Immediately, I did what I do best — research, always seeking to know the things of God. In my browser I typed “biblical meaning of a goat.”

The Christian meaning for goat is “a representation of demonic forces, wicked men, and oppressors, in addition to sinners who have not repented. These unrepented sinners will be separated from God on judgement day.”

Matthew 25:33-36 tells the story of the sheep and the goats. When the Son of man comes in His glory and all the angels with Him. He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him and He will separate the people from one another as a Shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on the right, “Come you who are blessed by my Father take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.” Feel free to read the passage and see what will happen to the goats and why. The he-goat is not all bad, I read a proverb that explains the good side of a he-goat.

Proverbs 30:29-31 reads and is explained as: There are three things that are stately in their stride, and move in a stately bearing: a lion mighty among beast who retreats before nothing, a strutting rooster, a he-goat (emphasis), and a king secure against rebellion. What do they have in common?

They have in common a stride of regal dignity over their own communities. Like the creatures, the King whose wisdom is shown by his security against rebellion maintains divinely ordained social boundaries. As one can see the goat has various meanings.

As I reflect on my vision the puddle of water and the goat, two scriptures came into remembrance, Jesus in John 4:14 says to the woman at the well, “That whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” And in John 7:37-39, Jesus says in a loud voice, emphasis on a loud voice.” Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in Me as scripture has said rivers of living water will flow from within them” By this He meant the Spirit.

In my summation of my online research and studying the scriptures, there are good and bad themes related to the goat. I will give the bad first.

The bad is the world is in a spiritual and deadly upheaval and in dire need of royal, stately, dignified, and godly leadership. Leadership that will honor and glorify God. Now here is the good.

The good is Jesus will someday return and God is giving the wicked, oppressors, and all sinners a chance to repent. An invitation is sent out by the Spirit and the Bride saying in Revelation 22:17 to “Come”! And let the one who hears “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty “Come!” Let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. Jesus says “Repent because the kingdom of God is at hand.”

Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.

Trees and Healing

As a teenager I had always been fasinated with trees and candle flames. What a combination! I would find myself drawing them on any paper I could find, little did I know they had spiritual meanings. I will talk about trees now and candles another time.

An article I read this morning explained that trees are in Revelation 22, and found in the paradise of God. I wrote a short story called Revelation 22: A Journey to the River of Life around 20 years ago and recently in a published book called From Nakedness to Purpose: A Woman’s Walk With God. I have been walking with my Father for a long time, and growing up into the fullness of His indwelling love.

In Revelation 22:1- 2 the angel showed John a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. And in the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

My thought as I reflect on my life experiences and God’s Revelation, that with the Gift of love, I am to bring healing to the nations.

Love is bringing healing to the nations.

Promises, Promises

Jesus told the disciples “I am the way and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Well obviously the disciples didn’t understand where Jesus was coming from, so one of them was curious enough to ask Jesus to explain.

Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”

Well that did not seem right to Jesus, that they didn’t understand, therefore, He asked this question,

“How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?”

“The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.”

Now we know Jesus always tell the truth, and He expresses it very well.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” Always remember Jesus keeps His promises. ❣️ John 14:6-14 NIV

Promises, Promises

Promises, Promises I know You keep. That is why I rest peacefully when awake or asleep.

Your love is deeper than the sea. I can feel Your gentle breeze, as You smoothly walk pass me. I am very sensitive to Your words and Your touch.

There is nothing I would rather do than be embraced in Your loving and healing arms, other than sitting at your feet.

Promises, Promises I know You will keep. All I have to do is ask.

A Rich Deposit

2 Corinthians 5:5-10

Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body ,whether good or bad.

The Deposit

Thank you Father for your deposited riches inside of me. You said it is my quarentee.

Oh! the presence of the Holy Spirit convicting, reminding, and prompting me to be of good behavior.

For I represent our Savior. He gave me my salvation and a revelation.

However, when that terrible day of judgement come. I don’t want to be counted as the unfaithful.

For I your daughter must live in faithful obedience and service to You. That is why I must listen to the voice of Your Spirit who tells me what I must do.

Thank you for the rich deposit of the Holy Spirit.

Groaning ?

Know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. The same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Romans 8:22-27

Firstfruits

Father we give You our firstfruits.

Even when we are suffering we are strong because of what You are offering.

Hope, love, joy, and peace is our daily feasts.

Father we give You are firstfruits– the crops of love and florishing service.

Your Spirit within keeping us from sin.

We live by Your promises and many blessings.

Groaning inwardly waiting patiently for our ultimate deliverance.

Father we give You our firstfruits.

Planted

Planted

I do not know where this is going to take me, but I am Planted.

Planted in the rich soil of His grace.

Knowing that one day I will see Him face to face.

The door of hope is open.

My Husband, Jesus soaking me in the oil of His compassion.

In my faithfulness I will acknowledge Him as Lord.

Planted, nurtured, and cultivated in the soil of Love.

Reading:

Hosea 2:14-23

“Therefore, I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her. There I will give her back her vineyards and will make the Valley of Anchor a door of hope.  There she will respond as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.  In that day,” declares the LORD, you will call me ‘my husband’; you will no longer call me ‘my master. I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; no longer will their names be invoked. In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety. I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD. “ In that day I will respond,” declares the LORD— “ I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth; and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, and they will respond to Jezreel. I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called ‘Not my loved one. I will say to those called ‘Not my people, You are my people’; and they will say, ‘You are my God.”

Nothing to Say

But here I am, I know You understand.

Father, what shall I do today?

Come near get closer to Me and pray.

Well, my daughter its to get you through these tribulations.

Father, I am so happy that I have You to love me.

Come My daughter let us rest under that cherry tree.

Your life is complete in Me.
